How to Install UrbanBeam

1. Prepare tools and surface - Get out the socket wrench, screwdriver, cable ties, and insulation tape if necessary. Clean the mounting surface so that it is free of dirt and grease
2. Install the brackets on the ramp - Screw the adjustable brackets under the bottom of the ramp according to the instructions provided. Do not loosen the screws completely - leave room for adjustment.
3. Place the ramp on the vehicle - Hold the ramp in the intended position (grill, license plate holder or bullbar). Ask for help if needed for stability.
4. Roughly adjust angle and position - Adjust the height and inclination so that the ramp points slightly downwards and does not glare. Loosely tighten the fixing screws so that the ramp is in place but can still be fine-tuned
5. Connect the DT-2 relay cable set
   • Connect the power cable (red) to the positive terminal of the battery
   • Connect the ground cable (black) to the vehicle chassis or the battery negative terminal
   • Connect the signal wire to the high beam signal wire (or specified adapter). Check the color codes.
6. Connect the ramp and test - Connect the ramp connector to the cable set. Turn on the high beam and check that the ramp activates as expected. Test light image against a wall or on the road in the dark
7. Finishing and wiring - Secure cables with cable ties along existing cable runs. Avoid close proximity to exhaust systems, moving parts and sharp edges. Insulate exposed contacts if necessary.
8. Final check and adjustment - Fine tune the angle for optimal light pattern. Tighten all screws firmly. Make a short test run and check for vibrations or loose parts.

Safety tip: disconnect the battery's negative terminal before working on the electrical installation if you are unsure, or leave the connection to a car workshop.
